Right then, first dram of the evening. 🥃 Nose is like walking past a bonfire on a damp heath—wet ash, a bit of brine, something medicinal lurking. That TCP note nearly puts me off but it’s mellowed somehow, wrapped up with a soft honey’d sweetness underneath. Sip starts *so* smooth, coats the tongue like melted butter. Then the peat rolls in—not aggressive, more like a smoulder. Bit of vanilla, dried stone fruit, then the smoke curls back at the end. 🍂 Finish lingers for ages. Feels like I've just had a slice of salted toffee by the sea. No rough edges at all. Honestly might've poured a second before my tastebuds finished the first one. 🙃
