Right, so here goes – just sipping this one now. First sniff is proper artisan cider vibes, that slightly funky, apple-y tang but with a softly floral lift. Gets me thinking of orange blossom and honeysuckle, almost like walking past a hedgerow in late spring. There’s a subtle fragrant quality that’s really rather delicate. Taste-wise, it’s medium and surprisingly smooth from the off. Vanilla comes through first, then this unexpected burst of tropical fruits – almost like candied pineapple and mango sweets. Sweeter than I expected, with a honeyed profile that leans into Demerara sugar and a bit of orange cake. There’s a gentle baking spice note, fine spices, like the cinnamon in a warm apple pie. Then that whisper of peat creeps in, just a gentle earthy hum, nothing aggressive. A tiny prickle of white pepper at the back, keeps it lively. Faint straw, too, which reminds me of a really good Belgian gueuze beer – that same slightly rustic, barnyard charm but clean. The ex-refill cask hasn’t over-oaked it at all; quality’s high, very drinkable. More candied notes emerge with a drop of water, candy sugar and orange blossom again, almost like a sweet floral cordial. Yeah, this is dangerously easy to sip. Cheers 🥃

Warm and a bit creamy, with honey, oak and a wee touch of spice. Feels cosy rather than showy — nice slow sipper by the telly 🥃✨

Lovely wee dram 🥃 Honey, ripe apple and a bit of vanilla up front. Then some gentle spice, oak, and a soft smoky edge. Feels warm, easy-going, with a slightly dry finish. Nice for a quiet evening.

oh blimey, that first sip hit different 🥃 right so... defo getting some warm apple vibes? like autumn in a glass, ya know. bit of cinnamon spice creeping in there, very cozy 🍂 then there's this honey sweetness that just lingers... proper lovely oh and a touch of vanilla, quite creamy tbh. reminds me of those toffees me nan used to keep in her handbag lol a bit oaky further down, gives it some depth like. maybe a whisper of smoke? not too heavy, just a gentle nudge 🔥 finish is warm and linguring... quite spcy actually, maybe nutmeg or somethin similar? overall feel? like sittin by a cracklin fire on a rainy sunday, wrapped in a woolly blanket. pure comfort in a dram 🫠 would defo have again on a cold evening like

Tried this whisky last night, oh it's proper lovely! 😊 Starts smooth with a sweet honey vibe, then some earthy and smoky notes creep in. Rich and full-bodied, but not too strong. Really enjoyed it, cheers! 🥃
