Oh, this whisky's got a right lovely nose on it! 😊 First sip, you get that smoky peatiness, like a cozy campfire. Then, some fruity notes come through, maybe a bit of apple or pear. The mouthfeel is smooth, with a hint of spice and oak. It's just smashing, really! 🥃🔥 Sometimes it feels a bit sweet, like honey or vanilla. The finish lingers, warm and satisfying. A proper treat for a cold evening.

Ah, right, just poured a dram. 🥃 The colour’s a deep gold, like autumn leaves. Has a proper thick, slow leg on the glass. On the nose... gets you straight away. A werry welcome hint of smoke, 🔥 but then, underneath, it’s all sweet, like honey from a jar and some dried figs. A bit of vanilla cream, too. Take a sip... 👌 Yes, there’s that gentle warmth. The smoke is there, but it’s not punchy. More like a comfy fireplace. Then you get all these lovely stewed fruits, maybe a bit of dark chocolate. Keeps changing on your tongue. The finish is long and warming. 🫂 Leaves a sweet, spiced feeling right in your chest. It’s like a hug for your insides on a cold night. A proper cracking after-dinner sipper, this one. Makes you slow down and savour it. Might have a tiny bit too much sherry influence for some, but I reckon it’s lovely.

Right then, just had a dram of this. 🥃 Nose is proper smoky, like peat fires 🪵. Got some sweet fruit underneath too, maybe apple? 🍎 Palate is warm, bit of spice kicks in. 🌶️ Finish lingers nicely... very smooth. Lovely stuff for a rainy evening. ☔️ Might havve another glass though. 😅
