mmm ... this one's ... hmm Nose: first you get this burst of ripe pear, then vanilla custard, a bit of toasted oak underneath. Palate: rich, oh so rich. Dark honey, dried fruits — figs maybe? A hint of black pepper spice that just ... dances. Finish: long, warming, a bit of charred orange peel coming through. Texture? Silky. Just ... coats the mouth nicely. Whoa. That's a dram.
