Lovely wee dram 🥃 Feels warm and smooth, with a bit of honey, soft spice, and a cosy oak finish. Quite easy-going, proper nice on a quiet evening.

Right, so this dram’s got a lovely deep amber glow, like an old penny. 👃 Nose is full-on bonfire smoke with a whiff of seaweed and a bit of medicinal bandage – proppa Islay vibes. On the palate… defo getting that earthy peat, but there’s a surprise sweet side – honey’d oats and a touch of dried apricot 🍑, maybe some vanilla pod. It’s oily, coats the tongue, and then the spice kicks in: black pepper and a hint of cinnamon. Finish is long and warming, like a crackling fire in a seaside pub. There’s salt spray 🌊, a bit of leather, and a faint echo of that sweetness hangin about. Sláinte! 🥃

Just had a wee dram of this one, and blimey, it’s a proper rollercoaster for the senses 🎢 Nose first – straight away I’m gettin’ stewed apples and a whiff of bonfire toffee 🍎🔥. There’s somethin’ almost seasidey, like a salty caramel ice cream that’s melted on warm pebbles. A bit of heather honey sneaks in, not too loud though. Onto the palate – oh mate. That first sip is like someone’s buttered your toast with marmalade then sprinkled soft brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon on top 🍞🍊. It’s got that gentle oiliness, coats yer mouth lovely. Midway through, the peat starts tiptoein’ in – not a huge smoky bash, more like a distant garden bonfire on a damp autumn eve. Earthy, a touch medicinal but in a cozy way. The fruitiness is kinda stewed plums and a cheeky hint of overripe pear. Then there’s this whisp of dark chocolate and a nutty backbone, like hazelnuts just cracked open 🌰. Finish is where it gets interestin’. There’s a peppery prickle – white pepper and a smidge of ginger – that lingers with the smoke. A dry oakiness that whispers “old leather armchair” and just a ghost of brine. Keeps pulsing gently for ages, leaving yer tongue all warm and fuzzy 😌 Gotta say, it’s not tryin’ to show off. It just sits there bein’ all complex without shoutin’ about it. Might have a second glass… purely for research, like 🥃

ooh that nose! straight up 'smokky caramel' 🌿 sweet yet kinda earthy first sip - big on 'apple oak' tones, then get 'vanilla spice' kicking in mouthfeel is proper 'lush n creamy' 😌 aftertaste lingers with 'baked banana' n gentle 'peat smoke' 🌲 dunno if it's me but hints of 'wet wool' comes thru too 🤔 overall? bloody lovely dram for a rainy arvo ☔

Well, this whisky's got a lovely vanilla sweetness on the nose, with hints of oak and spice. 🥃 Tatses smooth like honey and fruit, a real treat on a cold evening! 😋 Proper warming finish, that. 👍
