Right, this one’s a proper swirl-and-sniff job. 👃 First thing that hits you is a waft of honey’d orchard fruit — appley, pear drops, mebbe a nudge of overripe plum. 🍯🍐 Then underneath, theres a soft peat curl, not a bonfire, more like a damp hearthstone after a drizzle. Smokey but gentle, y’know? Sipping it… whoah, texture’s slick, almost waxy. 🥃 Upfront you get a burst of malted biscuit, then stewed stone fruit drizzled with a smidge of carmel. Mid-palate, it drys out suddenly — a proper spicy tweak of black pepper and a whisper of aniseed. 💫 Definetly a dram that keeps you guessing. Water opens it up more: orange zest, a little oaky splinter, and a salty tang that reminds me of seaside rock pools. 🌊🧡 Finish is mid-long, the warmth lingers without any rough edges. Leaves your mouth feeling like you’ve been chewing on a tiny bit of dark choccy. 🍫 Just a solid, cozy sipper.
